What you will do

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle (contracts, onboarding, offboarding, benefits) for NA and APJ regions.
• Manage payroll inputs and handle state registration processes for new US hires.
• Develop and improve regional documentation, people policies, and internal communications.
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in the assigned regions.
• Partner with Legal and vendors to ensure compliance with labor regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the establishment of new legal entities and transition employees from EOR to direct employment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in People Operations/HR within a global tech company or remote-first startup.
• Proven experience managing employee lifecycles across US and APJ jurisdictions (e.g., Australia, Singapore, Japan).
• Knowledge of US multi-state employment requirements and state registration.
• Ability to draft HR processes and documentation from scratch.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
• Must be based in the United States (Eastern Time zone) with occasional evening availability for APJ teams.
