What you will do

• Monitor and manage project expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• Review and process applications for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Handle end-to-end invoicing, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, ensuring timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports specifically related to construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Schedule: Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Chicago, IL time.
