Project Accountant

TL;DR

Project Accountant (Finance): Managing project and revenue financial compliance within OpenAir and NetSuite with an accent on costings and revenue recognition. Focus on reviewing service sales orders, calculating weekly costings, and reconciling financial data between systems.

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite in Makati, Philippines, 1 day WFH). Shift: 6am to 3pm PHT.

What you will do

• Perform project and revenue financial compliance using OpenAir and NetSuite.
• Set up project financials, including budgets, billing rules, and revenue recognition rules.
• Calculate and post weekly costings and revenue recognition based on approved timesheets.
• Reconcile weekly data between OpenAir and NetSuite and review project WIP balances.
• Utilize Power BI for reporting and analysis of budgeted vs. actual project costs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to drive financial hygiene, compliance, and project closures.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in accounting and finance.
• 4 years of experience in a similar project accounting role.
• Sound understanding of revenue, costing, and project accounting.
• Analytical and methodical approach with strong organizational skills.
• Must be based in or able to work 4 days onsite in Makati, Philippines.
