What you will do

• Lead and mentor a new squad of engineers, managing recruitment, onboarding, and career development.
• Drive technical strategy through architecture design, complex code reviews, and prototyping.
• Collaborate with Product, SRE, and Analytics teams to translate roadmaps into scalable features.
• Maintain a hands-on presence in the codebase by working on non-critical path features and technical debt.
• Establish engineering standards and ensure technical implementations align with long-term business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the EMEA region.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems using Python, Kubernetes, and Vue.js.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and providing constructive feedback.
• Ability to break down complex product requirements into scalable technical plans.
• Experience navigating cross-team relationships to align roadmaps and unblock the team.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data platforms and orchestrating hirify.global DSS instances.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
