What you will do

• Define and drive platform strategy across SaaS reliability, Developer Experience (DevX), and Release & Validation domains.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SRE and DevOps engineers, setting goals and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure high service availability and uptime to meet customer SLAs and operational excellence.
• Design and optimize large-scale Kubernetes environments and cloud infrastructure to handle growth and complexity.
• Streamline development workflows and enable self-service CI/CD platforms to improve developer productivity.
• Drive initiatives to optimize cloud spending and improve system observability and incident response.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a Platform Engineering Managerial position.
• Must be based in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, or the European Union.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and AWS (mandatory).
• Proven experience in leading SRE/DevOps teams in fast-paced, scaling environments.
• Strong knowledge of GitOps and IaC tools, specifically Terraform and ArgoCD.
• Experience with databases such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Pulsar, and Redis.

Nice to have

• Experience with other European cloud providers.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud operations.
• Background in on-prem enterprise backend software.
