Salary: $220,000 – $250,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers focused on developer experience and platform tooling.
- Own the delivery of initiatives to improve build/test times, deployment frequency, and onboarding experience.
- Guide architecture and tooling decisions for cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems to improve developer ergonomics.
- Embed AI-powered development tools and workflows into the lifecycle to accelerate productivity and code quality.
- Partner with senior leadership, security, and product engineering to ensure safe and reliable software delivery.
- Manage, mentor, and support engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and developer empathy.
Requirements
- Must be based in San Francisco for hybrid work.
- 3+ years of engineering management experience in rapidly growing organizations.
- Experience building platform systems including Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Istio in public clouds (AWS or GCP).
- Proven track record of using metrics (e.g., DORA) to drive improvements in developer productivity.
- Strong experience leading hiring efforts and performance management for engineering teams.
- Expertise in leveraging AI tools and workflows to materially improve engineering velocity.
