What you will do

• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support for injection molding manufacturing operations.
• Implement equipment, tooling, and process modifications to improve product quality, efficiency, and production yield.
• Lead the innovation, development, and transfer of new manufacturing processes into production.
• Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and measurement systems analysis to maintain manufacturing processes.
• Lead equipment installation, qualification, and validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, Advanced degree with 2+ years, or a PhD.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not available for this level).
• Experience supporting injection molding processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of scientific molding principles and process troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process characterization.
• Experience working within regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or automotive.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or DMAIC methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
