What you will do

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing execution for NPI, ensuring all deliverables and milestones are met on schedule.
• Act as a player-coach, splitting time between direct execution on one program and guiding a small team on a second.
• Drive technical readiness across builds, including process development, optimization, validation, and handoff to operations.
• Collaborate with factory teams on fixture and equipment design, determining optimal automation vs. manual assembly strategies.
• Execute DFX and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve yield, reliability, scalability, and cost.
• Conduct DOEs and structured problem solving (DMAIC, 8D) to resolve manufacturing challenges and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with moderate to high volume consumer electronics.
• Experience with ultrasonic welding, adhesives, heat staking, and small battery-powered electronics assembly.
• Deep understanding of injection molded plastic principles, defect modes, and GD&T.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for fixture design.
• Must be prepared to relocate to work out of the Boston, MA office.
