What you will do

• Design, monitor, and optimize chemical processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze process performance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Lead capital improvement projects (typically $50K+) from concept through startup and execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and R&D teams to drive process improvements.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods such as DMAIC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and conduct risk assessments (HAZOP).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or chemical environment.
• Proficiency with data analysis, process optimization, and continuous improvement tools.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in chemical or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects in the $50K–$500K range.
• Certification or applied experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Experience with batch chemical processing or polymerization reactions.
