TL;DR

VP, Ombuds & Ethics (Risk Management): Leading the organization's ethics, conduct, and conflict-of-interest programs with an accent on fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Focus on managing complex conduct risk governance, overseeing the ombuds program, and providing strategic guidance to executive leadership and the Board.

Location: Must be based in the US, with a requirement to commute to a local hirify.global Hub for in-person engagement.

Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 USD Annual

What you will do

  • Own the Ethics/Ombuds Program charter, operating model, and service standards.
  • Oversee the Conflict-of-Interest Program, including policy management and control testing.
  • Partner with Fraud, Legal, and Compliance leaders on enterprise conduct risk governance.
  • Develop and deliver ethics and conduct training programs for the organization.
  • Chair the Ombuds Subcommittee and report trends to the Audit Committee of the Board.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships for ethics and reporting platforms.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required (no visa sponsorship).
  • BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience in ethics, compliance, HR, or risk management in a financial institution.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and leading a high-performing team.
  • Strong knowledge of ethics frameworks, regulatory compliance, and employment law.
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, mediation, or investigation.
  • Ability to travel for business as required.
