What you will do

• Provide technical support and leadership for customers' digital transformation and mainframe modernization projects.
• Contribute to the design and deployment of Rocket products and new technical solutions.
• Solve complex technical issues using subject matter expertise within the Rocket Enterprise Suite environment.
• Collaborate with Delivery Architects and project managers to communicate status and mitigate risks.
• Offer sound technical advice to customers to ensure successful project implementation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5-7 years of relevant technical experience in complex IT project implementations.
• Expertise with Rocket Enterprise Server and Enterprise Developer.
• Proficiency in IBM Enterprise COBOL, PLI, and system-level experience with CICS, IMS, and JCL.
• Experience with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and OS (Windows, Linux/UNIX).
• Fluency in written and verbal English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with automated code conversion, re-platforming, and COBOL modernization.
• Familiarity with Agile practices, TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications such as AWS Solution Architect Professional, Microsoft AZURE Solution Architect, or SAFe.
• Proficiency in another EU language.
