Salary: $178,000 – $313,000 annually (depending on location zone)

• Design, implement, and operate critical scalable services including user identity and persistence layers.
• Collaborate across teams to evaluate trade-offs and deliver solutions for innovative product features.
• Advocate for and apply best practices in availability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate the development lifecycle while ensuring code correctness and security.
• Test, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (specifically in available office locations).
• 6+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience (or equivalent with Master's/PhD).
• Strong experience with distributed systems and backend services.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and/or Python.
• Experience with NoSQL solutions, Redis/Memcache, Kubernetes, or AWS/Google Cloud services.

Nice to have

• Experience in security, networking, data storage, or ML/NLP.
• Proven track record of operating highly-available systems at significant scale.
