What you will do

• Take clients' wider business concerns into account when making technical decisions.
• Implement architecture, DevOps, performance, and security best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support Squad Leads.
• Provide technical guidance as the most senior engineer on a project.
• Ensure the development team is achieving project goals and maintaining quality standards.
• Write effective documentation and share knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer in a commercial development team.
• Expert understanding of Java and Javascript.
• Experience with Java (21) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with Microservices and event-driven design.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployments.
