What you will do

• Design and maintain highly scalable cloud-based web services and microservices.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, identifying trade-offs and risks.
• Improve service reliability through enhanced code, testing strategies, and observability.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to ship changes safely and efficiently.
• Mentor team members and contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex projects from design through production support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Significant experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.
• Proficiency in multiple languages (Go, Java, Python, C#, or Rust).
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Preferred proficiency in Go and Python.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines (Airflow, Luigi, AWS Step functions).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies (Lambdas).
• Basic familiarity with frontend development (React).
• Ability to pragmatically evaluate AI/ML solutions for impact and maintainability.
