Project Manager (Construction)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Construction): Managing all facets of construction programs, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control for industrial and commercial projects with an accent on vendor coordination and detailed estimating. Focus on executing delivery orders, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines (OSHA) across Northern Virginia and the DC area.

Location: Hybrid (Stafford, VA). Must be based in Northern Virginia or the DC Metropolitan Area as the role requires driving between project sites.

What you will do

• Manage construction program schedules and budgets to ensure on-time, high-quality completion.
• Develop and review Statements of Work (SOW) through site visits and client needs analysis.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and fixed-price estimating using RS Means or similar tools.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate delivery agreements.
• Maintain project schedules in coordination with superintendents.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSEQ guidelines and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects, subcontractors, and vendors simultaneously.
• Proficiency in RS Means or similar unit price estimating tools.
• Valid US work authorization (E-Verify participant).
• Ability to travel and drive between project sites in Northern Virginia and DC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
