Salary: $100,000 – $125,000

What you will do

• Analyze fraud data including chargebacks, promo abuse, scams, and onboarding risk.
• Build data-driven models and dashboards to monitor fraud exposure and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to optimize fraud models and verification workflows (KYC, KYB).
• Design and evaluate A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of fraud controls and minimize false positives.
• Develop and track risk metrics to quantify fraud exposure and system performance.
• Provide actionable insights to influence the development of fraud detection strategies and automation tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years in an analytics or fraud/risk analysis role within fintech, e-commerce, or digital payments.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency with SQL and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Strong understanding of fraud taxonomies, including identity theft and promo abuse.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Vancouver office 2-3 days per week.

• Experience with Python, R, or statistical modeling.
