TL;DR
Data Analyst (Fintech/AI): Building and maintaining the analytics foundation for lending products with an accent on customer behavior analysis, funnel optimization, and semantic data modeling. Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 CAD

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end lending analytics domain, covering the entire customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention.
- Design and maintain semantic data models in Snowflake to ensure consistent, self-service reporting.
- Partner with Finance, Product, and Risk teams to standardize KPIs and translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
- Build dashboards that proactively identify trends, friction points, and operational opportunities.
- Actively integrate AI tools like Claude, Copilot, or Cursor into daily analytical workflows to improve speed and quality.
- Contribute to data modernization initiatives and support the reliability of the broader data platform.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Analytics Engineering.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with dimensional modeling.
- Proven ability to connect user behavior to business outcomes like conversion and revenue.
- Experience with modern analytics platforms such as Snowflake and Looker.
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools and active use of them for productivity.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex Analyst or similar semantic-layer technologies.
- Background in financial services, lending, or credit risk.
- Exposure to conversational analytics or AI copilots.
- Experience supporting cloud analytics migrations.
