What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices within the Payments, Disbursements, or GRC squads.
• Develop secure systems for collecting funds and optimizing transaction processing.
• Design robust services to handle secure and timely disbursement of funds to beneficiaries.
• Build and enhance systems for user onboarding, KYC, and regulatory compliance (AML).
• Manage infrastructure using GCP and Kubernetes to handle millions of daily requests.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record of building and shipping software within the Fintech domain.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and REST API design.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as Hexagonal and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of security protocols and KYC/AML compliance standards.
• English: Upper-intermediate or higher required for professional communication.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Bellevue, WA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with gRPC, Redis, and Google Cloud Platform services.
• Knowledge of blockchain and stablecoins.
