Insights Manager (12-Month FTC) (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based at an office in Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Halifax, or Edinburgh, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time onsite.

Salary: £61,344–£68,160 per year

What you will do

• Develop insight into the drivers of the Group’s external corporate reputation and identify opportunities for reputational growth.
• Lead audience deep dives, reputational trend analysis, market and competitor scans, white-space analysis, and horizon scanning.
• Explore and embed AI-enabled research, social listening, narrative testing, and other analytical approaches.
• Refine audience measurement processes and use data, technology, and expert judgement to shape campaign strategy.
• Lead insight projects, commission research where appropriate, and deliver ad hoc analysis for decision-making.
• Present insight developments and recommendations to senior partners and planning forums.

Requirements

• Strong data analysis, data visualisation, and data storytelling skills.
• Experience with primary research, secondary research, social listening, online media monitoring, and translating findings into practical recommendations.
• Experience using AI-enabled insight techniques such as automated text analysis, scenario modelling, or synthetic audiences.
• Knowledge of how political, regulatory, economic, and technological developments affect reputational strategy.
• Project management experience, including familiarity with Agile approaches, plus supplier and budget management experience.
• Strong influencing, presentation, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience researching political, public policy, regulatory, institutional, colleague, or employee audiences.
• Background in an insight or communications agency, corporate communications, public relations, or think-tank environment.
