What you will do

• Source and evaluate startups across water, sustainability, and climate-tech sectors.
• Prepare investment memos and due diligence materials for leadership review.
• Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, accelerators, and strategic partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build financial models and business cases for investment opportunities.
• Track and report performance of LP investments and venture portfolio activity.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and innovation events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science required; MBA preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in venture capital, corporate strategy, or business development.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, investment analysis, and market assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Charlotte, North Carolina.
