What you will do

• Lead the delivery of the Humanitarian Early Warning Note (HEWN) and refine analytical methodologies.
• Develop risk indices, severity scoring, and response frameworks integrating qualitative and quantitative data.
• Facilitate scenario-building exercises and integrate foresight methodologies into analytical products.
• Act as Senior Analyst or Duty Officer during crisis responses, including short-notice deployments for up to 40% of the time.
• Collaborate with FCDO analysts and external experts to shape the understanding of humanitarian risks.

Requirements

• Strong experience in humanitarian analysis, early warning, or information management.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience working with government (especially FCDO), UN, or INGO partners in crisis contexts.
• Familiarity with humanitarian architecture and operational response mechanisms.
• Right to work in the UK and minimum 2 years UK residency in the last 5 years.
