What you will do

• Plan and implement environmental, health, and safety policies in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations for accidents, injuries, and potential workplace hazards.
• Coordinate environmental testing for storm water, sound, and air quality.
• Serve as a technical resource for safety topics including machine guarding, ergonomics, and hazardous materials.
• Develop and execute safety education, training, and employee involvement programs.
• Maintain administrative records, including SDS, lockout procedures, and OSHA reporting.

Requirements

• 2 years of direct environmental responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety and health programs, risk identification, and federal/state regulations.
• Proven leadership experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, holidays, and weekends as required by operational needs.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
