What you will do

• Author, implement, and audit project-specific safety plans and operational safety roadmaps.
• Evaluate project phases and high-risk variables with project directors, superintendents, and engineering leads.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety audits, monitor subcontractors, and enforce corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and apply NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI standards.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Prepare weekly safety reports, analyze TCIR metrics, mentor field staff, and lead safety training and toolbox talks.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of construction safety or EHS experience.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in utility-scale solar, battery storage, or wind construction.
• Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification and active CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; an MVR check is required.
• High school diploma or GED required; a relevant technical bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least two of the following: active CSP credential, active CHST credential, EHS-related degree, or 10 years as an EHS Supervisor or EHS Manager.

Nice to have

• CPR/First Aid Trainer designation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
