What you will do

• Lead Engineering Managers and senior engineers through 1:1s to support professional growth, alignment, and execution.
• Own performance reviews, calibration sessions, and growth conversations across the engineering organization.
• Manage the hiring process, including organizational design and closing top-tier candidates.
• Collaborate with the CTO and CPO on strategy, headcount planning, and roadmap priorities.
• Sponsor technical debt reduction and prioritize long-term architectural investments.
• Monitor squad delivery progress and maintain a high quality bar across all teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in B2B SaaS or product-led companies.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations through growth phases.
• Strong technical background (former Senior+/Staff level) with the ability to contribute to architecture discussions.
• Experience implementing career frameworks, calibration systems, and performance management processes.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Berlin.
