What you will do

• Diagnose root causes of operational issues and implement technical solutions for effective resolution.
• Perform triage, troubleshooting, and fault resolution as part of the Incident Management process.
• Monitor the operational health of network infrastructure using event management systems and analysis tools.
• Prepare and implement network changes in accordance with change management policies.
• Collaborate directly with clients to resolve support queries in alignment with SLAs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, and knowledge base pages.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working in a large enterprise or service provider environment.
• Must hold a CCNP certification (minimum), ideally CCIE or equivalent.
• Must be based in or able to work in London (Hybrid).
• Solid understanding of IPv4, VLSM, VLANs, MSTP, Etherchannel, Static routing, OSPFv2, and BGPv4.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP stack, packet capture analysis, and enterprise firewall platforms.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec VPNs and using SNMP/Syslog for network management.

Nice to have

• Experience working within the Financial Industry.
• Knowledge of PIM Sparse Mode Multicast, Source Specific Multicast, and IGMPv2/v3.
• Experience with Network Time protocols: PTP, NTP, and PPS.
• Hands-on experience with Arista, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Fortigate, Palo Alto, and Corvil platforms.
• Proficiency in automation technologies: Python, Ansible, and Git.
