What you will do

• Develop and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems and APIs using Java.
• Design software components with a focus on simplicity, maintainability, and testability.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex technical challenges for millions of players.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high quality and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
• Document software intentions and troubleshoot/resolve defects to ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Java for building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC testing best practices.
