Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

hirify.global is building Thrill.com, a crypto gaming platform intended to create gaming experiences for millions of users.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend software aligned with product requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead architectural discussions and make technology decisions that improve performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across the software lifecycle.
• Review code and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• English proficiency at least at B2 level.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in iGaming or fintech.
