Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Go/Cybersecurity): Leading the development of Orca Sensor, a lightweight runtime component for cloud visibility and protection with an accent on real-time telemetry and cloud infrastructure. Focus on technically overseeing end-to-end product implementation, managing a team of 6 engineers, and bridging the gap between backend development and DevOps.

What you will do

• Technically oversee end-to-end product implementation for backend and system parts running on Windows and Linux.
• Manage team performance and wellbeing for a team of up to 6 people.
• Contribute to feature implementation primarily using the Go language.
• Ensure ownership of DevOps aspects, including Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/alerting.
• Provide input into the product architecture and design to solve complex technical problems.
• Lead communication with stakeholders, including upper management, technical support, and sales.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience working with micro-service architecture and cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm charts, GitHub Actions, and Grafana.
• Must be based in Poland (Hybrid in Warsaw or fully remote within the country).

Nice to have

• 1+ year of experience as a team leader guiding technical decisions.
• Knowledge of the cybersecurity domain.
• Experience with C++ or C.
