What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of 2–4 AI engineers, conducting code reviews and providing architectural guidance.
• Oversee the transition from experimental notebooks to production-grade services, ensuring high availability and low latency.
• Conduct R&D by evaluating and prototyping new techniques such as RAG, fine-tuning, and quantization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML Software Engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership/lead role.
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Mastery of Python and deep familiarity with frameworks like LangChain.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and API design (FastAPI/Flask).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Austin office under a hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Experience with Generative AI and LLM orchestration frameworks (LlamaIndex).
