What you will do

• Co-design AI solutions with the AI Architect and own product-level implementation.
• Develop RAG systems over EHR and clinical data using vector search and embeddings.
• Build and operate MLOps pipelines, including CI/CD, experiment tracking, and model monitoring.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and Responsible AI practices across all AI services.
• Manage reliability, security, and cost-optimization for AI products.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists while conducting rigorous code and evaluation reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in ML/AI and 2+ years in a lead role
• Healthcare domain experience in clinical or revenue cycle management
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain
• Strong SQL Server (SSMS) and T-SQL fundamentals
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI/Anthropic models, and MLOps tools
• No visa sponsorship available

Nice to have

• Experience with FHIR, HL7, or DICOM standards
• Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, or Airflow
• Background in .NET microservices and API design
• GPU/CUDA optimization and inference techniques
