What you will do

• Ship zero-to-one AI products end-to-end, from customer discovery to production deployment.
• Design and implement agentic AI systems using LLMs, tool-use, memory, and orchestration.
• Develop AI tools to improve efficiency across clinical operations and data extraction.
• Partner with the AI lab to take proprietary research models into production.
• Contribute to model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and safety testing of oncology models.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on AI/ML or LLM-powered products in production.
• Demonstrated ability to ship AI features or products from idea to production in zero-to-one contexts.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks.
• Production experience with LLMs, including RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic architectures.
• Must be based in the US.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex AI concepts for clinical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, or pharma, specifically in oncology.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHR), or provider-facing software.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as HIPAA, FDA, CLIA, or CAP.
• Background in computational biology, genomics, or multimodal data.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, or MLflow.
