Location: Must be based in or able to work from Irving, TX or Stamford, CT (Hybrid)

Salary: $116,000 – $170,000

What you will do

• Drive technical initiatives end-to-end from design through delivery and iteration.
• Own architecture decisions for complex systems focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to align on technical direction.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Lead solutioning sessions and proactively manage technical risks and trade-offs.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for complex engineering decisions.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Python including FastAPI and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and SageMaker Pipelines.
• Strong background in backend services, API development, and scaling.
• Proficiency with SQL, PostgreSQL, and data formats like Parquet and JSON.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph or LangChain and RAG systems.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform).
• Familiarity with load testing frameworks like Locust or JMeter.
• Experience with search engine indexing and retrieval technologies.
