What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary organization spanning product, platform, and applied AI.
• Drive technical direction, architectural decisions, and design docs across multiple teams.
• Shape the engineering culture, including norms for shipping, coding, and hiring.
• Build a novel operating model where humans and AI agents work side-by-side.
• Operate as a peer to the executive team to drive business outcomes and product strategy.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience, with 6+ years in people management at a startup or scale-up.
• Proven track record of running an engineering organization of 30+ people, including managing other managers.
• Hands-on technical ability to act as a Tech Lead, design non-trivial changes, and review code.
• Deep technical credibility in React/TypeScript, Go/Rust, Kubernetes, or Applied AI.
• Must be based in or ready to relocate to Stockholm or London for a 5-days-a-week on-site role.
• English proficiency is required as it is the company's primary language.
