What you will do
- Provide senior-level leadership for shipping, receiving, planning, procurement, and inventory control functions.
- Establish and improve enterprise-wide material management strategies to optimize cost, working capital, and service levels.
- Manage end-to-end materials activities and inventory performance metrics, including turns and backorders.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop demand forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Oversee procurement governance, contract reviews, and the disposition of obsolete inventory.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and purchasing agents to foster a culture of accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement.
- 2+ years in a senior leadership or people management role.
- Deep expertise with ERP, MRP/MPS systems and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work onsite in Saint Pauls, NC, Monday through Friday.

- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Proven track record of driving measurable operational improvements.
- Advanced analytical capabilities for statistical analysis and financial trade-off evaluation.
