What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable data solutions using the Microsoft Azure Data Platform.
• Collaborate with other engineers through pairing and code reviews to solve complex technical problems.
• Build reliable, maintainable, and automated solutions utilizing modern CI/CD tooling.
• Develop and improve engineering standards in collaboration with Lead Data Engineers and Solution Architects.
• Conduct proof-of-concept work to explore new tools, focusing on data modelling, performance, and cost considerations.
• Support product teams in interpreting telemetry and resolving operational data issues.

Requirements

• Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions.
• Technical expertise in Azure technologies such as Cosmos DB, SQL Database, and Data Factory.
• Proficiency in Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, automated deployment pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Experience with reporting or visualization tools like Power BI or MicroStrategy.
