What you will do
- Define target-state MLOps architecture and produce architecture decision records (ADRs).
- Conduct build-vs-buy evaluations for vendors, open-source tools, and managed services within an AWS and Databricks ecosystem.
- Collaborate with InfoSec to enhance the model registry and risk management framework to close gaps in lineage and drift detection.
- Build production-grade training pipelines, CI/CD for ML, and serving infrastructure.
- Implement end-to-end observability for the ML lifecycle, including training metrics and prediction drift.
- Onboard data scientists and ML engineers through comprehensive documentation and reference architectures.
Requirements
- Proven experience building MLOps platforms or ML infrastructure from the ground up.
- Experience operating in a regulated industry such as fintech, financial services, or healthcare.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, S3, IAM) and Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of model serving patterns, including real-time inference and batch prediction.
- Ability to write production-grade, tested, and observable code.
- Must be based in or able to commute to London for hybrid work.
Nice to have
- Fluency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Experience with ClickHouse or similar OLAP engines for low-latency serving.
- Domain knowledge in Blockchain, Crypto, or fraud detection.
- Contributions to open-source MLOps tooling.
