Salary: $167,500–$235,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Design and own core components of the agent platform, including orchestration layers and tool integrations.
• Architect knowledge and memory infrastructure to allow agents to retrieve and act on operational data.
• Build and evolve APIs and data access patterns for agents to execute workflows.
• Implement trust and safety frameworks, including guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Contribute to evaluation and testing infrastructure to measure agent accuracy and reliability.
• Partner with Operations teams to translate process knowledge into scalable agent capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend systems engineering experience
• Experience with AI/LLM agent platform development
• Strong API design and system integration skills
• Product-minded approach with the ability to own large segments of the technology stack
• Proven ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada
