What you will do

  • Own the general ledger, preparing and posting journals for accruals, prepayments, and intercompany entries with full audit trails.
  • Manage the month-end close for EMEA entities and perform balance sheet reconciliations to resolve variances.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and P&L reports by department, providing variance analysis against budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and assist with VAT returns and external audit processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes.
  • Partner with commercial, operational, and clinical teams to gather data and surface financial insights.

Requirements

  • Part-qualified accountant actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • 2–4 years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to both financial and management accounting.
  • Proven experience owning or supporting month-end close in a professional or commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite is a bonus) and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Must be based in London.
