Salary: $124,000 - $170,000

What you will do

• Lead delivery of data platforms, end-to-end pipelines, and system integrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs and work packages.
• Define and implement best practice data engineering and governance standards.
• Optimize client operating models, including technology architecture and business processes.
• Mentor and coach team members while managing implementation teams.
• Support internal IP development, propositions, and accelerators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Experience in the Insurance industry, especially P&C Insurance.
• Proficiency in ETL (AWS Glue, Talend, Azure Data Factory) and Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift).
• Experience deploying compute and orchestrating workloads in Azure, AWS, or Databricks.
• Strong skills in OOP languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with microservices architecture and API management.

Nice to have

• Data handling with AI/ML using Python or R.
• Experience with Low Code platforms like MS PowerApps, Mendix, or Outsystems.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
• Knowledge of workflow tools like Unqork, Appian, or Boomi Flow.
