What you will do
- Develop and execute effective territory sales strategies for a defined list of government agencies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders by aligning IT initiatives with agency missions.
- Conduct executive-level discussions and positioning meetings to build long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing and channel teams to create and exceed annual revenue growth plans.
- Manage the full sales process, from opportunity identification to successful closure.
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 7+ years of experience selling enterprise software.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex accounts.
- Deep understanding of business drivers within the IT landscape.
- Strong experience with defined sales processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience working for or with Public Sector focused Value-Added Resellers (VARs) or System Integrators.
