What you will do

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with CMS stakeholders and end users.
• Translate complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data models and reporting requirements.
• Act as a primary liaison between CMS stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain the product backlog.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in federal or healthcare sectors.
• Direct experience supporting CMS or similar federal health programs.
• Strong knowledge of case management systems and workflows.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data formats such as CDA, HL7, and FHIR.
• Agile certifications such as SAFe or Scrum.
