What you will do

  • Despatch bills to clients via email, post, client portals, and bordereaux reports.
  • Draft and check bills for errors ensuring alignment with client guidelines.
  • Handle billing queries from fee earners and internal staff in a timely manner.
  • Investigate bill discrepancies, manage reversals, and take steps to reduce errors.
  • Maintain and update accurate bill distribution lists.
  • Provide cover for team members and support general Finance Department objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a very good understanding of spreadsheets.
  • Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail when inputting data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at various levels and external clients.
  • Flexibility to assist in day-to-day duties of the finance department.
