What you will do

  • Lead month-end close, consolidation, and reporting across all group entities.
  • Manage group cash visibility, forecasting, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and act as the primary liaison for auditors, tax advisors, and HMRC.
  • Design and implement finance processes using automation and AI tools.
  • Oversee indirect tax compliance for international expansion across EU, US, and digital services.
  • Provide commercial support through annual budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 1-3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Hands-on experience in SME multi-entity consolidation and balance sheet control.
  • Solid grounding in statutory accounts, audit, and tax compliance.
  • Strong technology mindset with a focus on automation and AI.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Must be able to attend in-person meetings and practical exercises in Manchester.
