What you will do

  • Engage with customers, contractors, and insurer clients via phone and written correspondence.
  • Prepare clear, accurate technical reports in line with SLA requirements.
  • Coordinate third-party companies for vegetation removal and drainage repairs.
  • Update and produce building repair scopes using the in-house schedule of rates.
  • Review contractor estimates for accuracy, fairness, and technical validity.
  • Negotiate repair settlements directly with policyholders and manage panel contractors.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United Kingdom
  • Proven experience in subsidence or building claims, or 5+ years of trade experience, or a graduate-level building surveying background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of subsidence, building repairs, and insurance claims handling.
  • High level of IT literacy and confidence using claims management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload.
