What you will do
- Handle a caseload of product liability and insurance coverage claims independently.
- Support Partners on high-value cases exceeding £1 million.
- Draft court proceedings, applications, and bespoke coverage advice.
- Conduct legal research and investigations to support litigation strategy.
- Participate in settlement negotiations, roundtable discussions, and ADR.
- Deliver training seminars and workshops on technical legal issues to insurer clients.
Requirements
- Legal Qualification: Solicitor or FILEX.
- Experience: Previous defendant product liability insurance litigation experience.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of insurance disputes and claims.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Consumer Protection Act, breach of contract, negligence, and property law.
- Location: Must be based in London and able to work from the office at least one day per week.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing major litigation and liaising with senior claims handlers.
