What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of industrial disease claims (NIHL, HAVS) under the supervision of a Partner.
  • Draft court documents, prepare bundles, and analyze evidence to progress files toward resolution.
  • Conduct negotiations and represent the firm in telephone hearings.
  • Liaise with Counsel and experts to ensure high-quality legal handling of claims.
  • Provide detailed client reporting and maintain updated management information (MI).
  • Ensure full compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations and client SLAs.

Requirements

  • Experience in claims handling, whether in pre-litigation or litigated stages.
  • Solid understanding of the litigation process and the disease market.
  • Ability to work effectively under the instruction of a Partner.
  • Strong attention to detail and the capacity to work toward chargeable targets and deadlines.
  • Motivation to develop professional skills and grow into a full File Handler role.
