Location: Hybrid in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

  • Execute end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions for Asia-based employees.
  • Act as the primary on-the-ground coordinator for immigration, visas, permits, and work authorization renewals.
  • Provide visible HR support to employees and managers, offering guidance on performance processes and documentation.
  • Implement Asia-specific engagement initiatives and manage exit interviews using CultureAmp.
  • Maintain HRIS reports, internal resources (Zendesk, SharePoint), and validate HR inputs for regional payroll.
  • Support the delivery of Learning and Development programs and project manage regional people initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in a similar HR position, ideally within a global Software or SaaS company.
  • Degree or certifications in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field with knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Experience or exposure to countries in the APAC region, specifically Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Thailand.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy as an individual contributor.
