Salary: $160,000 - $195,000 base plus discretionary bonus

A growing real estate investment and property management organization managing a substantial portfolio of residential and commercial assets.

What you will do

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting for 40+ legal entities and approximately 100 properties.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and cash flow projections for the entire portfolio.
• Establish and manage recurring KPI reporting for accounting, leasing, and operational functions.
• Design, document, and manage departmental workflows and SOPs to ensure scalability.
• Drive the transition from manual processes to an automated, AI-assisted operating model.
• Perform hands-on accounting execution, including journal entries and detailed reconciliations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Proven experience managing accounting operations for complex, multi-entity businesses.
• Strong expertise in financial statements, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.
• Ability to create and report on company-level KPIs.
• Must be based in Los Angeles (On-site)

Nice to have

• Experience with AppFolio.
• Real estate or property management accounting background.
• CPA license.
• Experience managing offshore accounting personnel.
• Experience implementing AI tools and automation in finance.
