What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers responsible for the Commercialization Data Lake and pipelines.
• Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Engineering team.
• Oversee the design, development, and operation of scalable and reliable data stores and models.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Data Scientists, Engineering, and Operations to deliver robust data solutions.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous innovation within the team.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering focusing on large-scale systems.
• 2+ years of experience in managing and leading engineering teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in at least one language: Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Must be based in the US (as per salary and location specifications).

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling large-scale data platforms or data lakes.
• Expertise with big data technologies such as Spark, Flume, Kafka, or BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Domain knowledge in ride-hailing, mobility, or autonomous vehicles.
