What you will do

• Provide facilities engineering support focused on safety, reliability, quality, environmental, and cost objectives.
• Design, develop, and modify industrial instrumentation and automation systems for labs, manufacturing, and facility systems.
• Own system documentation and maintenance strategies to ensure reliability and avoid facility excursions.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis, developing engineering solutions for long-term equipment improvement.
• Manage projects within cost and time constraints, including equipment purchasing and writing software/test procedures.
• Analyze operational data and present findings in technical reports to provide consultancy support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 1+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience with Industrial automation platforms such as GE Cimplicity or Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC (PLC and SCADA).
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.

• Experience leading facility expansion or layout design projects.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to optimize operational systems.
• Prior experience coordinating and overseeing contractor work for quality and compliance.
